Director of Public and Analyst Relations

NewHeights Software was acquired by CounterPath - a commercial and OEM vendor of VoIP solutions. CounterPath also acquired FirstHand Technologies and BridgePort Networks shortly after its NewHeights Acquisition. As Director of Public and Analyst Relations I assisted CounterPath in telling its new and evolved offering to the market. Additionally, having only agency resources in the past, I built out a functional corporate communications department for CounterPath and established industry-wide relationships with reporters and analysts for the company.

Highlights of value added include:

- Increasing media coverage by over 400%
- The successful creation and maintenance of a consistent and on-going news cycle
- The successful launch of a new product with Quick Conference with the media and analyst community
- Daily analysis of competitor offerings and industry trends
- Managed partner and customer PR relationships to enable press announcements touting corporate and product successes
